I haven’t seen this suggestion anywhere which makes me think it’s not a good one, but I’ll say it anyway: what if wild cards could stack 1 additional enhancement. making them just as viable in any flush build as the suit changing tarot cards. Currently, it’s this either or game you have to play, and usually it’s not really worth playing an unenhanced card past ante 4 maybe. So as it stands wild cards just help transition into a final deck, instead of being part of it. obviously it’s heavily dependent on the deck but this would go a long way in helping flush decks, which is how I think they’re intended to be used at least.

I don’t think it is a bad idea
I have seen other people rephrase this as “Wild cards should count as their own suit” which means u can stack other enhancements like u suggested
I don't think they should carry another enhancement
the main problem that this idea has always had is that it doesnt really solve any of wild's actual issues
I personally thought their main issue is that they’re just too weak on their own. What would you say is their actual issue?
I think the suit should be changed to something unique so that boss blinds can't disable the ability of the wild card
To accompany this, we would need a new boss blind that debuffs wild cards
Pillar debuffs previously played cards
If your build relies on your wild cards, you'll either have to make more, or suffer the loss against the pillar
the main issues with wild cards are
a. they are usually an active detriment due to 4 boss blinds debuffing them
b. flushes are really bad
c. they arent even that good for flush builds because its usually just better to use suit changers
honestly this suggestion might even make wilds WORSE due to it being harder to remove it
