All discarded cards are destroyed, then added back after Boss Blind is defeated or this card is sold.

(Underlined portion was added in an edit)

Time Out (Rare)

#

Might be too strong, lmk if you have ideas to nerf it

hologram stocks: 📈

#

Interesting as it has ramp up time and is severely hindered by skips

#

Might be a bit strong? Especially after blue stake rework as you can easily go from a 52 card deck to a 22 card one

My question is how do you keep track of the cards that are in time out? Not to mention couldn't you sell it before defeating the boss blind to permanently remove them?

I like the idea of having more jokers designed around selling them quickly, and this fits quite nicely as a rare. It still is a bit strong though, so I'd say that discarded cards are restored at end of blind.

I didn't really design this with selling it in mind

#

Added a clause

#

The other idea is interesting but I think it loses theming

if the selling thing is removed, this joker isn't very good

#

yes, you can make boss blinds more consistent, but you have to play at least one blind an ante completely normally

#

and, in my experience, if you can beat the small blind, you can beat the boss blind

anyways as someone who over deck fixes to where I have 10 cards this would be like drugs for me

What if it was all discarded cards are debuffed and debuffed cards give +1 hand size

#

Hmm or maybe 1/5 discarded cards are debuffed and also resets at end of ante

It’s such a niche interaction that it adds a bit of depth imo
