1/4 never hits, not enough for only .5x at least...
Maybe the unlock condition should be fully consuming five or so different food jokers. Like running popcorn and ice-cream down to zero
I designed it with a friend, and we were thinking that, so that would be fun.

Consumables are very common and we already have madness always destroying a joker
I think guaranteed will be fine

It very well could be a rare. I just picked uncommon due to its similarities to the madness joker.
Maybe i'm wrong but 9/10 times it feels like a better madness ?
Tbh, I was a little bit scared of that, but I would need a new thing for it to be more balanced.
Make it gain chips or sell value instead of mult for diversity?

That’s like wording madness joker like
“At the start of small and big blind, destroy a random joker. If it does, gain 0.25x mult” or something like that

“1 In 4 chance to destroy a random held consumable and gain 0.5X mult at the end of round”
This is just significantly better madness
then you could use it like madness when it has no joker it can destroy, making the destroy part very avoidable
I think it should be like dagger where it actually needs something to destroy to get mult
