I’m a bit unsure of it. It feels weird seeing non-glass cards break.
Also if the joker has one card left to break and I play a 5 card hand, could it still break more than 1?
That issue could be fixed by having it so that it’s based on amount of hands played, not number of cards destroyed
Actually I’m leaning more towards 
The minute one breaks it destroys itself
Basing it on played hands feels.. weird for smth like this idea IMO

Okay but what if every other card that would have shattered doesn’t because the previous card shattered destroys the joker. Then you get 2x Mult for free from all played cards after the one that gets destroyed without any issue destroying those cards

I get the example I'm just confused on the point of it- I think it's the last sentence confusing me

But I think getting 2x from cards that should break but just don’t because the joker got destroyed first preventing the breakage

Im saying there's no reason for it to NOT go beyond 0 if the 2x mult also exists
Why does the 2x stay but not the 1/3 when this hits 0
Either both would stay (in this case it functionally only breaks after the hand is scored) or both would go (in this case the x2 ends once the joker itself breaks)
There's no precedent or reason to assume the 2x would stay if the Joker breaks mid-hand if the 1/3 doesn't (AFAIK. Maybe a similar example is achievable in Balatro and I don't remember)
Tl;Dr of this is "i don't see any reasonable explanation for why there would ever be an instance where the X2 and the 1/3 aren't connected and triggering together."

Infinite mult and deckfixing for pair and HC spam
Thats my concern w making it not self destruct
Bigger hands are unsustainable but HC and Pair will always be able to spam bad ranks you're okay losing
