I think what this and most suggested challenges get wrong is that they change too much. You have to play a certain way and every run is the same. Except for maybe monolith, every challenge have diversity, even jokerless which removes a core part of this game (it removes jokers if you couldn't tell). But a challenge that sets you run up feels like if deflation from btd6 choose the monkeys for you. Challenges are still decks so they should play like decks, not like scenarios.
Don't make the challenge pave the way, that's the players job.
