Idea 100% came from a meme that was randomly posted in #⚙・modding-general and then when I realized all the cards lined up on the field could look like the game I decided I'd actually have to make this.

Excluding the joker logic and deciding on quips most of the coding part of this is done.

The main thing now is deciding who goes on what card and then setting up the sprites properly since pvz has all the sprites in separate parts

I'll do it quick first with just images of the plants and zombies to figure out where everything will go before actually compiling the sprites.

So this is where we currently are at

Not including the flag zombies I'm trying to avoid duplicates so debating on if I wanna have it laid out like this or the previous way

I think I prefer the previous way since it means all the matching flags are the same number

Alright I tried to make sure all of the zombies link up to their appropriate levels but I'm gonna have to break the rules a little since I only have two slots without zombies left so it'd be weird to have only those two with coins.

Alternatively I could just add another column of plants but I like the current balance.

So currently Crazy Dave gives you a random tarot card after every played hand but I think that might be too powerful

#

So I'm thinking I'll change it to a 1 out of 4 chance of it doing that every hand. Or instead having it happen every round.

In PvZ fertilizer makes plants grow bigger by one stage so I felt that was more fitting with upping card ranks

Suns in PvZ let you make plants, I decided to uno reverse it and let suns make sun flowers (aces). Car keys gives you access to the store so I made it give you an extra booster pack slot in the store. All the money gives the same value like pvz. Taco gives you a diamond like in pvz although I wanna make it that you can only get that if you also have crazy Dave so it's like he gives it to you.

Watering can and shovel I decided would be the hand and discard uppers since it felt fitting for those as gardening objects.

Presents was supposed to give you three random cards but I couldn't figure that out so instead it gives you the present of a random voucher. The only one purely random is the bug spray since I couldn't figure out what to do so I went with a random joker upgrade.

Maybe I can limit the fertilizer to only work on the plant cards.

Pushed a quick update to the github to update the water can description but I'll wait on a proper release in case any of the cards end up adjusted

I need to adjust fertilizer currently it works on 2 cards and won't work with just picking 1
