not a fan of jokers involving face-down card mechanics
How does this work with the mark
How is this HC slop
probably the gameplay of "all right let me just play random stuff that's face down & after the aces"
it's difficult to play big hands with the right face cards when they're obscured, so this may or may not incentivize simply playing out of the facedowns depending on the rank waldo asks for (if it's a king play the first facedown, if it's a jack play the last, and if it's a queen play from the middle)
and you have a decent chance of landing the x3 that way
i'm not sure if i necessarily see this happening all the time but it definitely feels intuitive to say that yeah it's gonna lead to high carding
X3 is a bit much
i read it wrong thats how
seems oddly like a flush joker
where you could take multiple face cards without a chance of missing your hand
It’s as much of a high card joker as Idol is since you’d be able to play a high card with just the idol card and benefit from it. Because this only gives the 3x on the scoring hand, it’d be way better with straights/flushes/full house that have higher scoring while still being able to fit in faces
✅ assuming you can land the right faces with those hands
regardless it still feels to me like tossing out facedowns has the best chance of getting the x3 to proc
but hey, splash synergy :3
debuff but buff
