Like- scaling?
The card becomes 0 chips and this gains that amount?
Because if it's permanent that is really really strong for a common
Eh idk if that’s that strong?? It does take away base points off of cards, and once that happens the card can’t give anymore base chips. I could see why this could be uncommon but there’s very much a ceiling to it
That ceiling is reached Once all your cards are worth 0 chips (or until you add a new card to your deck)
It does scale chips yes
But you have to put effort into it
A standard deck has 380 chips across all cards
All that really effects is retriggers, and not meaningfully once most your deck is like that
It effectively allows them to all score at once; and the absence of Xchips makes the change in timing even less important
I do like it, I just think it's a bit too much for a common joker
This I agree w, but the ceiling is the answer for it's fairly unconditional inital growth
How would Stone and/or Hiker work for this btw?
Neither are dealbreakers to me I'm just curious on your thoughts
Hiker is not base chips, I think
Stone is an enhancement, the chips are associated with the enhancement much like bonus cards so also no?
Yeah that's fair, I just was curious since stones "don't have a rank", that 50 chips could be interpreted as base chips
Def more of an argument for stone than hiker; but i can see balancing reasons to exclude stone
This joker would absolutely be uncommon if it worked with stone cards
But having stone cards that serve 0 purpose afterwards is eww
Yeahh that's also true
I think the one thing that would justify it as uncommon is that it scales rather fast at the start
its pretty strong for sure
