Whenever a played card is scored, choose a random card in hand to score as well.

(String theory means the cards are connected by strings, so a triggered card will trigger another.)

Thats inconsistent

Because if the joker doesnt activate when hands of five cards are played, then literally the joker is useless

If you play a trio because you want to play only that 3 cards, it would be annoying if one extra card was added

#

And if not, then its just really unconsistant and brings secret hands

The description could have been a lot better

#

Cards dont score from the hand (giving their respective +chips , enhancements , editions,...) in base Balatro, so I guessed that it was scored with the rest of the cards
