Scored 10 cards give [X2.5 Mult] if hand contains a straight

basic scoring joker for straights, since there aren't many of them. allows for 2 10's to give the x2.5 mult if you have four fingers

use of the number 10 is based on how there are 10 pins in bowling. also vaguely similar to how you roll a ball down the bowling lane, and at the end get a strike—same deal when playing high straights or royal flushes, you score all cards and at the end get the mult "strike" when the 10 is scored

might post art for a card concept

you actually don't need Splash to get doubled ranks with four finger straights

grand girder
#

oh, the entire hand is scored with four fingers even when they don't contribute to the straight?

#

neat

i wanted something for straights that had the capability for synergy but a lot of the time straights struggle at it

#

that was this compromise

10s are a rank you often want in straights

so

# grand girder does high straight only mean 10-6?

Usually when you say high in reference to straights it’s like “7 high” is a 7-3 straight. I think just saying “high straight” means that it’s generally on the upper half of cards, but it may be a lil confusing

grand girder
#

yeah you're kinda right, , i just couldn't think of any other way to say it in a short way
