Hey, the original creator of the Chou Joker concept here, the original account got deleted so I'm using another account.

Since that post is quite old (back when the game was in demo, and the effect i thought was literally just Scary Face), i want to discuss about it again.
I have two different ideas, two of them focusing on changing suit, because a part of the Chinese opera is about "Changing Face"(變臉):

  1. effect that can change cards suit like tarot card.
    Cards will change it's suit before/when/after scored, club change into spade, spade change into heart, heart change into diamond, and diamond change into club. ( balatroclub ➡️ blatrospade ➡️ balatroheart ➡️ balatrodiamond ➡️ balatroclub )
    This can go with The Idol, Ancient Joker and Seeing Double.
    or
  2. gain chips or mult (can be both) every time when a card's suit is changed.
    This can make people think about taking suit changing tarots even more, however I think this is a quite boring effect in my opinion.
    Can pair with Bloodstone build, The Tribe.

I do not know if there's any mod or other concepts that have this type of joker already. If they do, it's pure coincidence.
