#Greedy Rats (Uncommon)

Golden joker, a common with no downside, gives 4$ per blind beaten
I think limiting rerolls is a cool idea tho
this scales though
Does it?
Yeah but we can consider golden to give an additional $4 after each round
It doesn’t say ‘an additional $5 for each round held’ or some other scaling phrasing
@mint cloud does it scale the payout, or is it just +$5?
to be fair as worded now gain is scaling
golden says earn
although i concide now thats not what they probably meant
Tbf no jokers have the phrasing ‘after giving the rats $20’ so who knows
although i think it should scale in my opinion
true
never thought about that
Yeah if it doesn’t it takes 20 rounds to pass golden, doesn’t allow rerolls, and takes your money early game when you need it the most
Consider: you are the rats and get $20 on purchasing the joker, new balatro lore??
@slim cipher It scales
So -20$ once, then +5$ per round, scaling?
Thsts crazy strong
In every situation where you're not miserably behind in scorinf- why wouldn't you take this
Rocket, of the same rarity, scales by +2 per ante
it depends on how youe read this
it scales
that is how i read it
Mmm its like building on long-term benefit
You recover from your first investment in 4 rounds
And then in 2 rounds, 2 rounds
Then in just 1 round
And after that you just win $5 , $10 , $15 , $20 ,...
A like that it is an econ joker thought for the late game
But other from that...
