Flavor Packet Blurb - Not too much thought went into it's design; I originally had it at +80 / -20, but felt it's use-cases would drop off way too quickly.
Alchemy Blurb - Wanted name to be Alchemist, but felt we need more concepts as jokers, for cooler potential art. The power itself is meant to be counterproductive and hard to make work; like IRL alchemy turning lead to gold. Except here, it can payoff with a resource that's hard to get on playing cards.
Flavor packet: A joker that burns your extra money for each hand left and that only gives 100 chips for it... Its just a worse Blue joker, and it descalates too fast, only 3 rounds for it being useless.
Alchemy rare: Mmm a joker that transforms steel into gold (despite the edition) its a joker I wouldnt pick even if it was negative on the ~60% of my runs
Alchemy is very much an ante 8 joker- and editions are WAY more useful than steel earlier on. Unless you already spam lower card count hands, Alchemy is usually a really good deal. You're underselling it and the consistency of getting editions on cards you want editions on.
I see the flavour packet stuff tho tbh
Yeah that could be true, but you first would need a decent amount of steel cards for considering buying the joker from the store, and for that, you would need arcana/boost packs, which you usually dont buy in the first shops because you want to build interest. By the time you get the steel cards (and they transform because RNG) , I feel that steel cards are more usefull than gold+editions
I dont like the aplication of the joker but the Overall idea is really cool
❤️
i do not like when people put several suggestions in one message
