Mmm with half your deck destroyed, (this would take 13 rounds = 4 antes + 1 round) Not also would straights be almost impossible due to inconsistency, the risk of loosing because of 0 cards left would be very probable...

0.25x per round is too little for it to help; you'd only want it for the deckrixing and "haha look i get score from it too!!"

Okay but you can exploit the downside very easily by removing the randomness in what it destroys by simply not having jokers or by only using eternals

This joker is probably useful for making flushes more often but that’s really it, getting it to thin your deck to one rank is pretty hard

My issue is that there really isn’t a good way to make use of this jokers downside that I can plainly see other than maybe erosion or something
