sounds quite unique
but also confusing and potentially overpowered
10 mult isn't alot being taken
and i assume -10 mult = $3 as 9 mult would be 3 dollars with 1 extra
$3 also isn't a lot of money although for loss in mult as golden joker takes 2 (1.5) rounds to pay itself off with no downside
the purchasing price would heavily affect the use of this
if its $3 then its ok <------------- this is probably balanced
$2, then its profit <----------- could still be justifiable
$1 is quite amazing <------------ maybe to over tuned
1-2 would make this most balanced
and honestly if you can't alter the values on the joker, it would be simpler if it was worded "-10 mult, gain $3 every round"
Yes, but he gives you -10 mult per hand, not round
Now that i think about it
Its way too op this way
yea i know
are you saying that you gain money every hand?
Yes
Its definitly too op
yea that is
It could decrease your mult by more and give 1$ per like 30 or so mult
So it would be more risky
Or just increase mult for $
But i thought idea was cool
bootstraps
it is
I mean make it give like 1$ per 20 mult
i feel like the numbers should be changed but exchanging mult for money is cool
So 1$ per 2 hands at exchange of mult
True
that’d be so ass
Wait does "invested" mean
i’d assume it stores mult that it takes
and gives 1 dollar for every 3 mult in that storage
Does it take all money? Does it take some money? How does it take money? When does it take money?
i assumed that it doesn't actually invest because that would be bad, its just it takes mult away and gives money
i do believe thats what the idea was
takes mult gives money
Oh, thats odd. And I think too good?
I misread initially and thought it was like a worse bootstraps lol
that
1 dollar every 2 hands 💔
you’d need 16 hands to break even with golden joker
and even then you’re losing mult so its worse
like the best way to get money from this joker would be passively, as in you dont try to maximize it, because 1 dollar every 2 hands is worse than the money you get from hands naturally
sorry rant
Keeping the vibe, I wonder if a different option would be better.
Like:
Earn $1 at end of round. This joker takes all interest and increases payout by $X for every Y dollars of interest taken
imo the original is my fav
