lets say i had 5 hands it would pick prehaps 3 and once i play my third hand it would give that 4 Xmult for that hand (and thats it no further hands or anything)

each blind gets its number rescrambled
small blind it might be 2nd hand, big blind 5th
where that you know when its coming and can prepare for it and play like high card to keep your best hand for the end, where as this you need to be playing good hands more often but for a bigger payout

so youd get the 4x on that first hand

I think its a nice idea but a little broken maybe make it rare cuz this would make acrobatics look like jolly joker
the idea is its more diffrent to play around than acrobat
acrtobat you know when exactly it will strike so you can prepare your best hand
with this its harder to so you need to play more consistent hands and 3X vs 4X isnt a jump of rarity in my opinion

If you couldn't gain more hands I'd agree it should be, but when you get to 5+ that's asking an unreasonable amount of deck fixation

Not even that, blue deck and the hand vouchers all become not just actively but extremely detrimental
You're expected to have an entire additional good hand for this to work (which.. kinda pushes it into HC/Pair spam.)

I think this would just encourage HC and Pairs. A straight build, for instance, couldn't really rely on it. Assuming that when it triggers is secret.

The amount of hands doesn't matter if you hc spaming
how do you figure? Unless you play, on average, half of your hands, you will, on average, not benefit from this.

having fewer hands actually makes this more consistent.

If the first discard is returned to the deck. If any of the cards from that discard are subsequently played this joker triggers for xMult? Doesn't really solve the HC problem though. It also conflicts with effects (Trading Card) that use the first discard (not necessarily a bad thing).
This is a completely different joker that simply fits the theming.
might make the HC problem worse, because your options are severely limited by trying to build around whatever cards you happen to be able to draw from your first discard.
