Enhancing a card with the enhancement it already has should remove it. That's it.

EX: Using magician on lucky cards makes them normal again

wicked thorn
#

why

stray meadow
#

for the eventual joker that scales with non-enhanced cards that everyone wants for whatever reason

mild pendant
#

why not have the option

stray meadow
#

It’s not like the enhancement does anything bad

#

And there’s no mechanic that debuffs a card for having an enhancement (except wild cards)

#

Name a scenario where you’d ever want to remove an enhancement

mild pendant
#

iirc it would reset pillar

stray meadow
#

but the enhancement stays when you do that

#

That’s good

#

I meant a scenario where it would be better to just strip the enhancement entirely

mild pendant
#

ah

tidal heath
#

to unglass a glass card because you want to keep it

#

it allows for more flexiblity and skill expression

#

the only situation i can think of where this would be HARMFUL is if you had a hand full of enhanced cards and wanted to use a tarot to scale fortune teller

#

which is basically never happening so

#

idk why this has 3 nopes it is a good suggestion

its a good idea it just doesnt feel intuitive

restive steppe
#

if you must remove a card enhancement just use vampire

#

plus you get xmult

onyx panther
brisk kettle
#

me selling a joker and rerolling a billion times to get vampire specifically to remove lucky from this one card

restive steppe
onyx panther
#

your not garenteed vampire is all we are saying (and the fact it takes up a joker slot)

tidal heath
#

You've already seen reasons you might want to disenchant a card and been given reasons why the vampire isn't the same or even close

restive steppe
#

I suppose

#

Why would you need to get rid of an enhancement though?

tidal heath
#

like I said, to reveal a stone card, to protect a glass card from breaking, to keep yourself from scoring too many points

restive steppe
#

…Why would you not want to score a lot of points…

tidal heath
#

to allow a wild card to work during the window club head and goad

tidal heath
#

or scaling jokers

restive steppe
#

True

#

Although, this may become obsolete near late game (ante 6+)

onyx panther
#

its just a option that can help

restive steppe
#

i guesss

onyx panther
#

plus that 6/8 antes (or more so 5/8)

tidal heath
#

I don't really get why it stops being relevant though

#

depending on the boss blind it can always be relevant

#

or if you're still easily scoring a lot more than required

#

which is not unlikely within the first eight antes

restive steppe
#

You’d need more score, so getting rid of lucky cards is a bad idea

#

Unless, you’re talking about stone cards, which could be useful

tidal heath
#

haven't you ever used like, vagabond or reserved parking?

restive steppe
#

No, i know what they do

#

Vagabond is the tarot card one right?

#

Reserved gives money

tidal heath
#

yep

#

both of them get value from using all of your hands but one and then winning

restive steppe
#

I suppose it could be good for some people

#

Personally, it’s not my cup of tea

#

But i see your point in how it could be useful in some cases

tidal heath
#

it must be really hard for you to admit that you've changed your mind, huh

restive steppe
#

I have changed my mind connor cadaver

onyx panther
#

its something that doesnt hurt anything

#

it just raises the skill ceiling

restive steppe
#

Yeah, i see that

#

I guess i was being a little “ethnocentric” with the idea
