Starting Jokers: Vagabond (Eternal)
Starting Consumables: 1x Hierophant, 1x Empress

Custom Rules:

  • All cards without an enhancement are debuffed
  • Must have at least $150 upon defeating the Ante 8 Boss Blind

Notes: This challenge obviously centers around Vagabond and its great tarot generation. However, it also throws in an extra layer of strategy by forcing you to decide when to abandon Vagabond in order to build up enough money to win. After playtesting, this feels like a fun and somewhat difficult challenge. The money amount might need to be tweaked slightly, and maybe Vagabond should be rental rather than eternal. Feel free to share your thoughts!

Making $150 is not hard at all. It does kinda suck to essentially have 4 jokers though, why is Vagabond eternal?

Why would getting rid of the joker causing your poverty but keeping you alive go against the theming?

getting rid of it immediately and just hoping to get a cartomancer or enough tarots or something

I think it's honestly fair though to be down a Joker slot once you're done with Vagabond since you get so much utility out of it in the first place
