#Misc questions about modding on Steam Deck

Read a few accounts on people having issues uninstalling mods, but haven't find anyone talking about how to uninstall from Steam Deck, and since I'm currently reading up on how to install mods on Steam Deck, I feel I'd rather figure this out before I do anything else.
Mostly because with the update being right around the corner (maybe) and I'd rather know how to turn the mods off once it drops and avoid risking breaking anything.
Speaking of; what are the risks of corrupting one's save when using mods? I've only got about 20-ish jokers left for Completionist++ so I'd rather not lose that. And does game progression with modded jokers persist when the mod updates? As in; if I complete some modded deck stakes, or get stickers on the modded jokers, and the update drops, breaking the mod, will I keep that progression when updating the mod to the new version? Is it also possible to turn off mods on the Steam Deck without deleting them?

Sorry, got a lot of questions here. First time I'm trying to mod anything that is not a PC (laptop/stationary)

# glad hill I've played a lot on Steam Deck and haven't had any issues at all

So no issues actually uninstalling mods?
From what I gather, we need to use a web browser + access the download websites on the deck itself, then mess around a bit in the folders in desktop mode; all of which I imagine would be a pain to navigate...
I know it'll probably be easier than I imagine, but man, I'd pay money to have Workshop integration. Unpopular opinion maybe, but messing around in the files of a handheld console is not something I feel mentally prepared for at the moment. First time for everything I guess.

the steam deck is like a pc so it works like one. You can remove all mods on the steam deck by removing the version.dll or the launch options, and otherwise you can disable mods in game through the mod menu or deleting the mods folder

you can also hook a mouse and keyboard up to aid in file management
