Hi. I just bought this game on pc, and cant play with it. Any idea?

Seems like your savefile got messed up somehow. Since you just bought the game, I'm assuming you don't have any progress yet and it can be safely deleted. Feel free to back up these files before deleting them though.

Go to %appdata%/balatro (if you're using steam - otherwise follow the paths here https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Balatro#Save_game_data_location) and delete the 1 folder. It'll automatically get recreated properly when you restart the game.

Its doesnt work, beacuse this folder doesnt exist. The game didnt generated it. Any other idea?

Can you show a screenshot of the parent folder?

You can also try deleting settings.jkr and verifying the gamefiles through steam

Thats it. There is no settings.jkr and if I verify, it says that everything is okay

I cant see the video, but i deleted the 1 folder and nothing changed

And in the 1 folder there is only a meta.jkr file

Hmmm, try disabling steam cloud save, it might be restoring the file.

If you go to steam, right click the game > properties > you can disable steam cloud

That wouldve been 3 am at the time you pinged me lol. Anyways by a New profile meta.jkr Im assuming you mean Delete a profile, create new profile, and then hand over that meta.jkr (there are a few other interpretations so just want to be sure)

Have you reinstalled the game yet? Maybe you could delete all config files and then reinstall it

Never mind, I discovered a solution. My brother copied his appdata folder without the steam cloud save and I put it in my appdata folder. Now I just needed to creat a new profile, and done
