it's arguably not as bad as the ante one boss bl8nds on ante one and only damaging later
It's around the same power as a suit boss though

It removes all 1 hand win options AFAIK, and alot of 2-3 hand wins compared to suit bosses
True, removes around the same amount of cards as a suit boss except it removes your best cards

Technically an A-10-9-8-7 (flush) can win, or any combo of 40+ chips.. which is a very narrow but achievable window
Its still way more limiting than the suit bosses tho

Btw I am assuming an ante 1 joker was picked up, but in my experience those still rely on high chip hands for a 1 hand win

The point of the plant is to teach players to not always use face cards but all face card builds reqiure set up which you are not likely to get at ante 1, there's multiple jokers that are rlly good ante 1 that depends on suit

No? 4oaks (above a certain rank) and strushes still 1 shot w/o jokers
There’s not too many other ways that can hit 600 on its own even with face cards not debuffed
7+ for 4oak, which you've lost about half of from the plant (7,8,9,10,A, so 3/8 lost) VS suit bosses which move the 4OAK post to 9+ (at 8, it's ((60 + (8*3)) * 7, or 588. This gives 6 possible 4oaks to win, so suit bosses technically make 1 handing with 4oak slightly easier, and Strflush wins no matter what so it's a non-point
