Chinese checkers!
So far i plan to include:
Jokers based on the playable characters from Clue
Chess Jokers
A mechanic based on Go, may be a joker but could also work as a voucher
Any ideas on how to implement it :?

Probably just stare at images of the board and think about what could be done with it. There are six colors on the board, three of which are common in Balatro: chips for blue, red for mult, yellow for money. Green, white and black could be other things. Green could have something to do with small or big blinds, since the background is green then, but not in boss blinds. White and black could work with unmodified or negative cards, since they have similar color schemes. Then the card could change effects each blind in a rotation, matching the turn order of the game.

Ooh, interesting effects. Could probably add some code for a dynamic description, or changing the sprite based on which color is up next. Maybe if the values start at 1 and cap at some value?
And could make some effects detrimental, like losing money rather than gaining it, or being negative only for one ante
Sprite change would be nice, not sure how negative coloring works but maybe we could do a color shift like how negative makes colors negative

well unmodifying your cards is almost always a detriment but good point on the money
It's a shader on top of the card, it's automatically applied when you set the edition on a card, so you don't have to worry about that part.
We could make that specific sprite be negative, so when the shader is applied certain colors look "normal".
Something like this might be a bit more balanced, not sure how to mess with the (caps at 25) value to make it look nicer tho

also if i was willing to make the description even longer i would have the +1 effect work like green joker lol
since its in the slot of the green playing pieces

Axy's sleep schedule is a mess, so Axy currently sleeps from about 5 hours from now, until about 13 hours from now
interesting games i know of from my experience playing clubhouse games ds:
-hanafuda (probably already been done)
-bozu mekuri, uta-garuta, or just any kind of karuta in general
-sugoroku
-gunjin shogi/stratego?
-shogi, or other chesslikes like xiangqi or makruk
-if you're going to have Go you could probably also have gomoku
-backgammon?
-reversi/othello

Im thinking for the Clue characters they can apply new suits based on their names to scored cards
Haven't really played Clue, so
it's a deduction game, been a while since I played but i don't think any of its mechanics could be moved into balatro so ill just have it be a reference with a new mechanic
flips the joker cards over, asks you to deduce which card is the murderer
in theory you could do something like that but I think it distracts from the game a bit too much

I'll put down some ideas i have in a message rq, ittl mostly be western and or modern games since that's what I'm most familiar with
Go voucher: assigns a quarter the players deck a White Stone and a quarter the players deck a Black Stone when redeemed (rounding up in the case of odd number card decks) each scoring non white/black stone card between two scoring stone cards (either both white or both black) adds +X1 mult
Example: a royal flush where the first card in scoring order is a white stone card and the last scoring card is a white stone card would have and Xmult of X3
Now that i think about it making the cards variants of base game stone cards rather than like a custom stamp would be cool

Hm... It might be possible to make a black stone and white stone enchantment, apply that to a quarter each of the player's deck, then trigger xMult on the second custom enchantment of the same color in a scored hand.
