So hands that contain not scoring cards don't affect this?
Correct
Its straight/flush/house/5oak
"if played hand is unplayed" isn't a very good condition.
no but am I stupid or does this make no sense
Its worded poorly
"If played hand hasn't been played before this round."
But that just also felt too wordy to me, but I did change it back just now
thanks
good
Hope it makes more sense now :>
ot does
also how does this work with water or burglar
erm you mean splash
or the water boss
Water alr can be negated with Burglar so it'd still work
And Burglar doesn't ban all discards, just removes them at rhe start so id argue they should work together
Not the water, but the other one*
i know i knowi just saw the oppertunity and took it
the needle
This works during The Water is the TLDR
Thank you
of course
how you invade here
if you use a anke on a mary andy during the water you get the discards aswell so its pretty normal
Same thing w Burglar
who does that
Its a start of round effect, it doesn't outright ban discards
get judgemet and drunkard
yes i am a women
women in balatro server.
hmm... where have i heard that before.
I think I named something after her
????
well anyway yeah i assume this has no bonus effects with splash
and +6 discards and handsize is pretty strong
im just looking at the upper limit of it
what no in game design terms i just think its got a bit to strong of a upper limit
oh yeah straight flush
8 if you count royal flush as diffrent
its not the game doesnt care
it is
but i see your point
i mean it does differentiate but its leveled the same
so its not
fandom wiki be tripping
i would phrase this as "If played 5-card hand is unique this round ..."
"Is unique this round" is really open ended and also doesn't rule out two seperate flushes
Its definitely better than my original wording (if played hand is unplayed this round), but I personally think that wouldn't be more concise than it currently is
"Gain +1 discard and +1 hand size per unique 5-card hand type played this round, resets at end of round"
I'd say it would differentiate between Straight Flush and Royal Flush, since those are still counted as separate hands according to The Mouth and The Eye despite sharing levels
Still what rarity is it
Description says rare
