Tbh this feels weaker than both card sharp and acrobatic
I could see it as a common
I agree; it would be a solid common.
ehhh
its probably better than card sharp
maybe
Pretty good common yeah
You can trigger duo every hand. And it's a very easy trigger which is under your control
so is this
this is well within your control
and only gets better the higher the stake
It’s pretty bad for bigger hands lowkey. There are times you need to use hands for discards and as such you maybe effectively not get any value from this
tru but the higher the stake the better lower card hands get
and with bigger card hands you probably want more value than just a X2
Mm yeah but this would then roughly be the equivalent of +1 hand in terms of scoring for smaller hands; it’s okay but not great
stuff like seeing double doesnt do as much for those types of builds
yeah
still tho i feel like its comparable to card sharp
I don’t think so as card sharp feels much stronger giving 1) a higher mult boost and 2) multiple of those boosts and 3) forced into the same hand
i feel like its much weaker for stuff like 5oak
only really helping reliable hands like flushes or straights
i also feel weird with a common joker giving X mult
especially conditional x-mult
i dont believe theres any joker that does that besides cavendish
Photograph
honestly i think we should have more common xmult
its going to have to be pretty bad then to be common
To add some flavor to this idea:
Could be called "Magic Mirror" or something like that, the art depicting a mirror with a faint reflection of Jimbo
It isn't though. On higher stakes you often have to use hands as discards cuz you didn't get lucky enough
So no it actually gets worse at higher stakes
This feels too weak to be anything but common
That's fair
But for once it's refreshing to have a suggestion not be broken or absolutely useless lol
the more i think about it tho this is kinda useless
you dont get to utilize your other hands if this is your win condition
and X2 isnt a lot to work off of
plus the 2 for 2 concept doesnt really make sense to me
That's fair actually, I don't see the reference
2 hands for 2 times mult
