Theme: Witches Brew
The idea is that cards have to be sold or maybe destroyed for this Joker to spit out something else. Or this joker has to be sold afterwards to create the result, like Invisible Joker.
My base idea was "sell 2 common jokers and this to get 1 uncommon joker" and this would apply to all rarities, so it would be an opportunity to get a legendary joker more easily. But I guess that is also kinda crazy. (unless maybe it only has a small chance to create a legendary upon selling two rare ones)
So instead this could work for consumables as well, or even only for consumables. Selling two tarot cards will generate a new one, for example.
Selling two planets creates a new one, selling a planet and a tarot will generate a planet or tarot and so on.
So this is by far not a finished idea, but I like the concept of something like the Bag of Crafting from the Binding of Isaac, giving you ways to boost your run through combining what you have plenty of while you're looking for something specific to get you even further.

Every time a consumable/joker is sold, add points to this card based on the rarity. (Can be tweaked)
When you reach a certain threshold, sell this card to generate a legendary joker
How does that sound?
Actually maybe make it only jokers
The effect needs to be put down in a short and simple line, but it doesn't need to fully explain the "crafting" mechanism.
With this in mind, having it work across Jokers and consumables could be fun, like:
"For every 3 things sold, creates a new thing". Maybe selling a rare joker and two tarot cards is always a recipie for a spectral card for example.
