After playing with it a bit, I can confirm these aren't rare enough. For the time being I manually toned it back about 2x and it still feels really rewarding to find

Well I didn't do it through your Lua to be clear, I am working on my own shop manager and manually set the weights through it's in-game menu

the whole reason for making this mod was bc i dont feel like many mods actually use perma-bonuses all that much
wanted to make one that focused entirely on that/card deck, rather than mostly just being jokers
Yeah it adds some good variety. I know of a couple mods that provide permanent bonuses to certain ranks but this is the first one that feels like it has some proper "big number" scaling
yeah if you get enough deck fixing/retriggers this mod can scale pretty big
which is why the basic +chips/+mult cards give less than/the same as the temporary bonus given by their respective base game tarot enhancements
Smart, yeah I am sure it could get wild especially deep into endless (my favorite part of the game)

The plant
Fair enough lol, the plant is a great gatekeeper if you don't have boss rerolling by the time you run into it
With a bunch of mods it can sometimes be really difficult to find the correct voucher so a bunch of heavily modded late game runs end to the plant for me
100% my fault for not playing around the chance of getting that boss
anyway with enough building on a single card (and a bunch of planet upgrades) you can make it so just the "card" part of High Card beats everything all on its own
also if you ever pick up one of the planet upgrades, i will say, the increase in level chips/mult does change retroactively, it just does so the next time you level up that hand
Oh that's really good to know. I just assumed it wasn't gonna change my past pickups
yeah the games kinda weird about it and i only figured that out once i tried leveling up a hand a few times, upgrading said hand, then leveling it up again
itll give the amount of chips/mult (however weird itll look) in order to make the past levels "catch up" with the new level scaling

like im sure in its current state there are some things that could be explored/worked on but i dont really see what would be necessary to change

np, might add some funny extra text to the upgrade cards so they introduce themselves to you when you find them
yeah it doesnt do too much crazy stuff, only changes perma bonuses on cards and the level up chips/mult for planet cards so i doubt theres many ways for it to cause problems
only crazy stuff is being op after a certain time

i am all for unbalanced stuff (thats why i use cryptid)
making the deck op is a major reason i made this in the first place lol

i never actually got enough upgrades to take advantage of it but im sure in endless you get to like x7 chips and x7 mult on one card

I have been busy so the cycle got shunted a bit, but the plan is that they are fortnightly releases
There are just a lot of PRs right now, and ones that need adjustments first, so it’ll be a few more days
