So, Matador is already getting a rework (it’s confirmed, simply due to how buggy it is), so I wanted to throw my hat into the ring in terms of making it worthwhile… so here goes.
Matador, Uncommon Joker
This Joker Gains 0.2X on the final hand of a round.
What I will say, the amount given (or if it even gives scoring, or if it gives something like money or consumables) can be changed; however, the idea is, like with Matador’s original concept, you’re playing risky and being rewarded for it. Normally, Matador gives $8 playing boss bounds with specific effects (usually playing a debuffed card or sacrificing a hand), which hurts your scoring and means that you’re getting a little bit closer to losing in return for some extra cash. In this case, you’re playing to your final hand much like the other uncommon jokers that ask you to play that close (being Acrobat and Dusk), so I think a scaling joker could be good, one that doesn’t scale as fast as the likes of Throwback, but still allows for decent modifications.
