I've been working on this mod on and off since sometime last year and finally decided to release it!
It's still a heavy work-in-progress but I have lots of fun features planned for the future :)
A small note; the jokers are not all created equally; some are more vanilla-like, others are a bit stronger.

Here is a current list of features!
= Two new consumables types: Weapons and Foods
Foods boost your playing cards, while Weapons boost your jokers.
There are 13 food cards and 12 weapon cards.

= Stickers: Weapons
The consumable weapons are just one extra way to get more weapons; they apply a sticker to whichever joker you choose.
Jokers can also naturally spawn with weapons.

= 20 new Jokers!
Includes all canon Slugcats (except for Watcher, as I haven't gotten around to making Watcher just yet!).
There is also a handful of fanscugs which will, in a later version, be included separately for people who want a more canon rainworld experience.
You can disable them through the jokers.lua file if you wish!

= New Blind
"Rot"
All cards of a played hand become Rot cards.

= New Challenge
"Slugcat Parade"
A easy challenge with all the different Vanilla/Downpour Slugcats.

= New Deck
"Five Pebbles Deck"
Start with 8 Rot cards.

= Two new vouchers.
"Fair Trade"
Weapon cards can appear in the shop.

"Scavenger Stash"
1 in 3 chance to get a weapon at the end of a Boss Blind.

= New Card "Enhancements"
"Rot" cards
-25 Chips
This card is rotting away.
5 rounds to destruction.

At the start of each blind, 1 in 5 chance to spread to another random card in the deck.

"Wet" cards
1.5x Chips
Dries in 5 rounds.

heya! i recently got into modded balatro and wanted to make my own mod soon based on rainworld. but then i found this amazing mod! i would still like to make my own in which the enemies are actually regular jokers. i'd make sure that there'd be no overlap between the mods but still wanted to make sure yall'd be ok with it!

I think a main difference between our 2 will be that mine is probably closer to vanilla feel with new mechanics as where yours is really precise in recreating rainworld in it’s whole if i can describe it as such

is it normal for store jokers to show up with weapons ? I got a bunch of spears rocks, grenades. Having a third of the jokers be functionally poly seem way to strong

Yes, it's normal for them to show up with weapons. Due to new additions in the last update weapons have become more common with packs and tags; but previously it was the only way you could find them. I may lower the spawn rate of shop weapons to reflect this change.

However, keep in mind that there will be an update in the future which adds extra stakes (more difficulty and scaling).

I will most likely have a more vanilla-friendly version of the mod out in the future as well; but I'm currently working on just having all the features I wanted for it before hand.

Added a new branch concurrent w/ main called "Vanilla-Core" with nerfed jokers; weapons; foods. Will most likely reduce shop weapon rate as well in the future and some other balancing changes

I've also been working on randomizing enemy defeat conditions; some enemies still retain their original defeat abilities (mostly stronger enemies; or 'bosses')
