Example of how the functions:
1:
You discard a 3 and a 4. you have 2, 3's in your deck and 2 4's. As a result you draw 2 3's and a 4.
2:
You discard an ace. You have 0 aces remaining in your deck. You draw nothing.
3:
You have a jack, you have 1 jack remaining in your deck, you draw 1 jack.
Yap:
The core concept is that it is extremely risky to grab this early game—although works quite well with some early game discard jokers (cough cough mail in rebate)—due to the fact that you'll have to use hands to remove ranks from your deck, which is bad for your economy, making it quite risky around that period.
Mid to late game is where this card is really meant for with mid game allowing to help make some discard decks become really powerful (hit the road comes to mind) and then late game with Baron or any held in hand effect.
Hope i explained it well enough
This could be an uncommon IMO
It sounds powerful but usually when discarding, you don't want to draw that rank again
This was a nightmare to make into a simplified concept
You do mention Hit The Road, and it would be decent if youve fixed purple seals off 1 card
Its definitely neat, I just think it's an uncommon in terms of power
oh no the wording of the card itself took like a solid hour to get to the point that it could be simple
Might also make nan inf runs more varied
Elaborate
This is insanely powerful on any high card based build
Most naneinf builds hit a point of deck consistency it doesn't matter, that's my thought process
right but iet let's you draw double the amount of cards
Per discard
Although it requires a lot of deck fixing to get this to point where it is useful
like if you have a full deck of 52 Kings 3 Discards is a handsize of +15
oh fair
not too familiar with nan inf
I definitely think it's a cool idea, I just dont see this being a gamechanger for naneinf
Itd probably be useful for the earlier endless antes if you're missing a Joker you need or want
Yknow this card might actually make drunkard more viable
Cuz don't get me wrong, I definitely like the idea
yeah its definetly better mid-to late game
and i can see the argument that it's win more
This is way too good with mail in rebate
I was gonna have it be rare
in fact my initial idea was rare
although it does technically reduce your hand size if ur using rebate
(since ur gonna run out of cards and ur not getting new ones
so it's high risk/reward
You play HC and get your entire hand back
I mean that's true which is why it might work better as a rare. it's still a bit risky especially if you can't guarantee a hand
it does force you to dig with your hands though to remove unwanted cards tho
