I modded my balatro on steam to play multiplayer with my friend, and it cause the game to start freezing and crashing. I went through and deleted the mods and it still crashes, i deleted creation.dll (was told to on reddit to get rid of Lovely) but it still keep crashing, even after verifying integrity of game files, reinstalling, deleting all files and reinstalling, and downloading on a differend hard drive. everything ive tried hasnt helped and im stumped, no clue what to do.

All my drivers are up to date and my computer doesnt need an update

your cloud save file is probably corrupted, so you need to disable cloud saves and remove your profile data

#

this does mean you lose all your progress

#

but that's the risk of modding

I’ve deleted my profiles and made new ones, it still crashes. How do I disable cloud saves?

right-click on the game in your Steam library and switch off Steam Cloud
