{WIP!} Underbalatro - An Undertale-themed mod! DEMO RELEASE

This mod would (in a future) add content about the well-known game Undertale (and Deltarune). This mod is NOT finished, and there is no chance it would be released anytime soon (for the moment), as I want this mod to be more complete before releasing it, but work is in progress.
This game is not balanced for vanilla, but isn't as crazy as Cryptid.

Here I want to add a list of plans for the mod. Some of em would be;

An HP Bar that replaces instant game over after loosing a blind
Blinds that alter your hp, based off main bosses from Undertale and Deltarune (such as Toriel, Sans... etc)
A new consumeable kind; ITEMs. They're items from Undertale and Deltarune, that would alter your hp and your gameplay
Equipping Souls before starting a run, like the decks and the stakes, just that they will just alter your hp
Jokers!
Some kind of Joker, called Places, that would only activate with some certain jokers. Some of these places could be for example, Snowdin.
My objective is to add every main character as a joker, and every main item/armor as an ITEM consumeable.
And more!

If you have any suggestion or anything, please tell me, I'd love having some help with the ideas :D.

Just finished a run with this mod and so far it is pretty good. Though I think Kris is a little strong for its effect. I also have no clue how the Last Dream works.

doing so witll transform the card into 'Dreamy' enhancement

Asked a friend and they said that the red soul deck could allow you to live if you die in an ante, but you'll have to restart that ante back to what it was like when you first entered the ante. Can be limited by a single charge per ante, or replenished with a consumable of sorts.

@ocean path Here, to make up for it, a bug that's actually meant for this game:

Thorn Ring crashes if it occupies the rightmost Joker Slot. This is because it attempts to check what's in the index to the right, which doesn't exist. To fix this, your for loop should end at #G.jokers.cards-1 instead.

Your should also re-default oj to nil before the for loop is ran, so that if the card to the right of the Thorn Ring is removed, the Thorn Ring won't just continue to refer it.

Lastly, card.ability.extra.joker_affected will always be nil. This is because you only set oj, which replaces the previously value. If you set card.ability.extra.joker_affected = G.jokers.cards[i+1].key alongside setting oj

(The tricky thing about unfinished cards is that Wraith/Judgement don't offer any warning that they're about to dump one on your ass and immediately crash the game.)

Oh, also the next() function returns two values: First the index, and then the actual object.

Your SMODS.four_fingers() hook needs to use the line local i, c = next(SMODS.find_card('j_ub_thornring')) because if you only have c by itself, c will get the index of the Thorn Ring, rather than the Thorn Ring itself.
