[WIP] Shrimple cards - visual pack

This is just a simple visual mod/texture pack, with more focus on the pixel art aspect of it on about half the resolution of normal Balatro.

Still WIP, currently only has paying cards and their respective enhancements and seals, as well as the decks, anything that's in hand.

I've been posting in #🎨・fan-art but thought I could put this here as well since it's technically a mod.

Oooh, although a bit concerned I won't be able to do things like mess with the resolution of the shader or whatever creates the rounded squares in the UI

And this is so visually distinct it clashes with almost every element in the UI

Valid My current concept for high contrast is removing the translucency and adding a white outline to everything, it'll make it kind of look like stickers in golden and steel cards and such. But my style has a way bigger problem with how the carda look when enhanced

Nothing that you currently have wouldnt be possible with Malverk, in fact, your current code is using the depreciated standard from over 14 months ago. What were you thinking of doing that you think Malverk wouldnt be appropriate?

mainly editing the shaders/ how the resolution of them is handled, for stuff like card effects, or the big swirl in the background so the resolution matches the lower res designs, aswell as maybe changing the ui elements like buttons

I'm currently making mockups for a conceptual (for now) uno roguelike, and is it okay if my base card takes heavy inspiration from your cards?

it's just that your cards look gorgeous

Haha go ham on the design I don't mind, I also got inspired by someone else it's what gave the cards the chunky feel and large suits

this is so fuckin weird

for low contrast, i have to switch to low contrast with that suit selected for it to work

for high contrast, switching to it on that suit will make every suit but the selected one work

the one piece of criticism i have is that the card in aura looks slightly off center, but thats more nitpicky than anything. otherwise, fantastic work and I will definitely be using this texture pack once its done
