My first attempt at creating a mod! Up The Ante adds 30 unique Jokers to the game that should spice up your experience and allow entirely new strategies while not deviating from a vanilla feel!! All Joker ideas and artwork was created by me, EmeraldPlusIrony, while Joker coding was done by @high oyster!

im such a great developer i noticed a bug with room keys after the release and it was only because i was rewatching the trailer for a third time

The textboxes of this mod are really awkward. I put in a pull request to fix some of it. I like the art of the Jokers, and some the mechanical designs (Neapolitan, Exposé) but others like Tungsten and IOU make me frown.

So I did two runs with this mod, here is my feedback:
-Lighthouse is bugged an does not work at all.
-Ketchup and Mustard can appear as an eternal. Which I assume is a bug. Did not pick it up for a playtest.
-Pointilism is overpowered. Was putting up massive chips by ante 5 (in the 300s range) without any drawbacks or effort from me. Compare Extra Credit's Plushie for example, which is a playable Joker.
-Do not disturb's effect is bit niche without other jokers designed to support it, but otherwise fine. I was able to get it at an opportune moment, and earn a nice bit of cash, which was satisfying. I will note that it pays out all the money in one go, instead of per card as the text on the Joker states. This might matter when played with other mods.
-My compliments go to Lonely Joker. I got it early and had fun balancing growing this Joker and picking up others for later antes. +2 mult per empty slot might be on the strong side.

When I do another release I'm probably going to nerf poth Pointilism and Room Keys, I definitely underestimated how much of an effect chips have

Will look into Lighthouse, though. I didn't catch that at all in my testing

i think pointilism is definitely too strong, havent used room keys yet. having something that just naturally scales without the player needing to do anything should generally be a very small chip value, and i think that things like rocket work as well as they do because money isnt directly tied to score unlike chips
