Chicot reverses the effect of boss blinds. To do so, it basically changes the player’s stats in reverse of that of the boss blind.
So, The Manacle who removes 1 hand size, if you have TWO chicots, it’ll give you +1 hand size permanently for the rest of the run. You can also use certain vouchers to reroll the boss blind infinitely to always be manacle, leading to +1 hand size per ante.
With even more Chicots, you can get up to like, +3 hand size per boss blind, allowing you to get ridiculous hand size scaling

i've been scouting this seed for the past few hours, i dont think the wraith is worth it. you can score enough with just the baron and foil showman on plasma deck. idk about other decks though

i have a much simpler way to find the mime rn, dont reroll until ante 3 second shop

third shop: reroll x1 – hermit, reroll x3 - mime

i picked up invis on ante 13 first shop then sold on ante 14 first shop for chicot. not sure if this affects the invis generation but i did skip the ante 13 big blind.

i got retcon in ante 13 by taking a voucher skip in ante 4

you get enough money for it by using the emperor in the first shop, it's gonna keep giving you emperors and fools and eventually you'll get a chariot + temperance

some people above in this thread have explained the chicot bug but here it is in short. Chicot disables the boss blind in a interesting way, the boss blind activates, and then chicot undoes it. So for the manacle, i.e. -1 hand size, chicot will add 1 handsize when it deactivates it. If you have multiple chicots, it does +1 hand size for each chicot. This is bugged in that it will permanently increase your handsize

so if you can reroll for manacle every boss, you can increase your handsize every ante and it keeps up with the blinds through ante 39

You're wording is incorrect because you did
1chicot = disableds the blind
2chicot=1 hand size
3chicot=2 hand size
So therefore if I have
3 chicot I should get 3 hand size???? That's not how it works
