Hi, I’m not sure where to post this since it doesn’t fit any specific channel, but I want to discuss game pricing in PLN (Polish Złoty), as it’s becoming increasingly frustrating.

This issue keeps coming up: price conversions to PLN are very unfair. The topic has been discussed in various places, like:
https://kursnasteam.pl/?lang=en
https://www.change.org/p/let-s-fix-polish-prices-on-steam-03f6be92-f35f-45f3-ad62-7951bde6f39b

I don’t want to spam links, but I’d like to highlight just how unfair the current pricing of Balatro is.
Current exchange rates from Google:
1 $ = 3,77 PLN
1 € = 4,28 PLN

Steam:
14,99 $ (it's 56,51 PLN)
13,99 € (it's 59,88 PLN)
vs
64,99 PLN
According to SteamDB, Poland currently has the second most expensive price for Balatro in the world when converted to USD - 17,24$, which is about 15% higher than the US price https://steamdb.info/app/2379780/

Google Play:
9,99 $ (it's 37,66 PLN)
9,99 € (it's 42,76 PLN)
vs
49,99PLN

Of course this isn’t just about one game. The problem is that Steam’s regional pricing for Poland hasn’t been updated in years, even though the exchange rate has changed significantly since 2022. As a result, Polish players pay much more than those in many other countries, despite lower average salaries.

I do not know how this looks from publisher perspective, but maybe my post can make a change, and adjust a game price to be at least comparable to other countries.

PS. Great game, I'm a huge fan.
