Does it permanently change them? This effect seems too complicated and not intuitive. It would be hard to even see when it triggers because your whole hand is drawn pretty much at the same time, at least at game speed 4 which most people play on.

If it is permanent, that would be interesting, your deck sort of snowballs into one or more likely several different cards over time.
