#Blueprint stops scaling jokers

- are you using STEAMODDED
- can you post a clip or some screenshots of this happening
Yeah I'm using steam modded and give me a minute I'll try to get a clip
here's a clip my yorick has been like this for the past 2 antes
you should be able to test this with steamodded disabled. If it persists, then try are replicate it from a fresh save.
If it doesn't then test if it's caused by steamodded alone or any of your mods
If the bug occurs with steamodded alone, make a bug report on the github page for steamodded
If I turn off steamodded I'll have to start a new run right?
not necessarily, most QoL or cosmetic mods don't mess with saves
but anything that adds entirely new cards (if currently used) or bosses, etc could cause issues
What mods do you currently have installed?
active ones I think are only joker display, next ante preview and cosmetic stuff
alright, none of those should conflict with an unmodded save, start with disabling joker display and the next ante preview. It's unlikely to be Joker display (I use it regularly without issue) but it could still be a conflict

then for the steamodded i just take the mods file out of the game folder right?
yeah, just move the version.dll file into any other folder
i couldn't find the version.dll file would just moving the mods folder out work?
Right click on Balatro in steam and go to this setting
Browse local files will bring you to the folder that should contain the version.dll file
I'd recommend pinning this to windows explorer
I assume windows, no idea if modding is possible on other OS
yeah, you could also make another folder within this folder to keep the version.dll file in
it stops the game from reading it
just to make it easier to transfer
from there just launch balatro and you should be able to access your save and nothing should break
be careful if you have something like talisman or nopeus though
would that change anything?
Talisman messes with how the game calculates scores and nopeus messes with gamespeed
ensure both have been set to vanilla settings, then remove steamodded
also yeah now its working normally so i think it was something with steamodded
also i had both but thankfully both were vanilla so nothing happened
probably, did you try with all mods disabled and just steamodded active?

though bummer this is the first good run i get today and this bug happens again
yeah, it can be frustrating, but that's the danger of playing with mods

I've had plenty of issues with mods over the profiles I've had. Currently going for C++ for a third time, second time with mods, and I've encountered many bugs with just steamodded. 2 I found and reported were Rental tags not appearing in Gold stake, and Midas mask causing previously unplayed face cards to become debuffed against The Pillar
yeah tried without any of the mods still has the bug
both were frustrating but less so than this (The rentals not appearing was technically a good thing but it only occurred to me after the run that I never saw a rental, replayed the seed to feel as if I didn't cheat it)
right, that's exclusively steamodded then, do you know where to report that?
i remember it happened in a challange which i had an early hologram and kept adding lots of cards then after like 3 antes i realised hologram was stuck at like 1.75 but at that point was gonna win either way so kinda ignored it
in their discord right?
The github page has a section to report bugs, not sure about a discord server dedicated to steamodded
that's how I did it at least, and they both got resolved there
i found someone with the same bug but it works when they take blueprint off it which wasn't the case for me
alright, without knowledge of their scenario, not much I can help with there, I'd still recommend you make a report there, and see if there are any differences between your case and theirs

hi im late but (if you haven't gotten it resolved yet) this is a steamodded bug, you can fix it by updating (or uninstalling) steamodded
