Was playing a run, and I had driver's license. It was at 15 out of 16, and I had 2 DNAs that would copy a bonus card to make driver's license work. Well, it copied, but it didn't trigger the x3 mult and I lost to the needle. This should had gave me x3 mult because the DNAs trigger BEFORE it, right?

Especially so since steel cards created this way are counted as in hand.

It might just be an issue with sequencing. As in the game actually adds them to the deck later, like DNA and the Pillar as a boss blind.

Could be a bug akin to that

I'm guessing steel joker style jokers also don't update wth DNA on the same hand
