Boss Blind Can't reuse same hand standing type glitch

I was on the boss blind and I was not allowed to use the same hand standing twice. I started with a pair and 2 other cards so I can throw away some cards without having to discard. It would not allow me to use any other hand to make points after the first turn. I tried 2 pair, straight and flush. It made me lose.
