Unfortunately, about 1-2 months ago Balatro became listed as ‘incompatible’ in the play store on my Retroid Pocket 5.

It seems this is an issue for many Retroid owners - some of whom said they’ve had success with wiping/hard resetting the device, then immediately purchasing & downloading. However that seems super extreme for what could probably be resolved with a simple fix in the App Store from the devs I would think.

I would much rather support the devs and purchase the game rather than having to find and emulate it by other means :/.

Not a perfect solution, but on my RG406V, I was able to buy on my phone, then install via Aurora Store.

This is a problem on my Retroid Flip 2 as well. I used to be able to install it and play perfectly fine. The game works fine if installed from an apk, but then the cloud save doesn't work. I really hope this is fixed!

In case anyone is still having this problem, install the game from aurora store after giving it special permissions with Shizuku. It works perfectly, Google cloud save and everything!

Does that just do the same as installing on adb with spoofed install source?

I know I said earlier in the thread that I solved this, but it stopped working on my tablet, lol.
