Play on Ghost Deck for the polychrome! (Seed still works on other decks but getting Polychrome on your Brainstorm is more satisfying)
The shop contains a Brainstorm. If you beat the small blind in one hand you can simply afford it.
If you beat it in two hands though, you can still get it despite missing the last dollar. Don't sell Hex, that's a waste of a perfectly good Polychrome. Instead, buy the Buffoon Pack, which contains a negative Wrathful Joker, with a higher sell value than the Buffoon Pack itself. Sell it for $1 profit
The only jokers in second shop are chaos the clown (no scoring) or in the buffoon pack a square joker (boss blind is Psychic so it can't help you) and baron (too early for it to work well)
Buy chaos anyway, reroll for free, sell it to get crafty joker. From there you should be able to get going
The brainstorm is perishable and rental on gold stake but that doesn't matter too much because you can't afford it anyway on red stake onward, unless you sell Hex too, making it a lot less viable
