Magic Deck Crystal Ball voucher not working on continue game

Started a new run on magic deck without selecting any blinds or skips before closing the game last night.
Continued game this morning, played 2 blinds and realised I don't have an extra consumable slot

I do have some mods installed but they are only card skins

reloaded without mods and still no extra slot

modded clients are buggy, type of mods you've installed don't matter

modded clients also modify your save files that the base game reads, so if the modded client introduced bugs in your save file they persist in the unmodded game
