#Random mod idea

I know Deck Creator can somewhat do this, but it's buggy and crashes sometimes. Plus, some decks don't exactly have options for Deck Creator
that's that card sleeves isn't it
ik but card sleeves only has a couple decks (which i largely dont mind rlly, more than two deck combos is my main thing)
the cardsleeves guy has talked about maybe making it so you can have more than 1 sleeve at a time? idk if they ever got anywhere with it
but they said if they're doing it, they're not capping how many you can stack iirc, idea probably got buried a while ago so i wouldnt have hopes for it
idk, i could try to learn how to make mods, since I also have a couple Joker ideas
i would need to make new ui elements, and stack the effects. that would be rlly hard considering i know nothing about Lua
ok, ill tell u guys and post the link here when/if i finish
the main problem is I have no idea how to visually show this (both during select and in-game)
that's the full extent of the effort I put into it so far haha
it could just be in the deck view screen
Right, but how. You'd want some sort of overview of currently selected sleeves (some sort of list presumably) that would need to work on both vanilla and galdur's select screen
also the UI for showing the current sleeves during a run would have to be completely revamped 🤔
you make a sleeve that you have to use to combine other sleeves
and then have it say +13 other sleeves all of which can be viewed in the deck view screen
you could theme it around a 7 segment display and have a counter on the front of the sleeve showing how many sleeves are active within it
that would support up to 99 sleeves with two digits
so... with a "infinite stacking sleeve" you have another select screen once you get into the run or something?
in the run info screen I can have a button that goes to a new screen that shows all the current sleeves (this one probably isn't that hard with edgecases or issues, just a lot of work lol)
i'd probably put the new UI after you press the start run button yh
if you have infinite stacking sleeve (digital sleeve if you go with the segment display idea) then when you press start run it opens a new UI with every sleeve where you can enable/disable their effects (except the digital sleeve of course)
alright that's actually a pretty good implementation of how to do it
:D
wouldn't have to worry about galdur/vanilla differences either
