Had this happen on me a couple of times, failing a blind/boss while having a foil Mr. Bones with my stack of jokers. Then getting surprised at the game over screen. This has happened to me both on Blue chip and Orange Chip difficulties, the one in orange chip was also perishable.
The seed for my orange chip game was 'YXP3U3UX', had my game over at The Wall and I got Mr. Bones in the store of that level.
