Don't stress too much about it!

Though for whichever ones you do, could I ask that you make them compatible with every suite? (ex, meowscarada available for all 4 suites without manual file editing)

so people could choose their favorite 4 and not have to worry about 2 of them using the same suite? ;3

*while the mew and ditto wasn't in any particular order, having ditto as brainstorm would kinda match up with pokermon, which has it turn into a temporary version of the leftmost card.

Alright!

Might I suggest mew and ditto for your next two? Mew would make it so you're almost done with the legendaries, and ditto would be for one of the strongest/most versatile cards in the game (Blueprint)

Anyway, I'm going to take another look at the joker list, but this time with a greater focus on the cards that people tend to use most often.

#

Greedy, Lusty, Wrathful, and Gluttonous:
Nickit, ~~vapor~~- LOVEDISK, the HEART, with NOTHING to do with the NAME of the card, Primeape, and Milcery.

#

Rough gem: Thievul
Bloodstone: Alolamola (Not an evolution, but it should be.)
Arrowhead: Anhialape
Onyx Agate: Alcremie
...only one of these makes sense, but it's meant to be a natural progression of the above cards, so I made it the evolved version.

Duo, Trio, Family, Order, and Tribe could all be the pokemon set to be put on their matching planet card

speaking of, I just realized I forgot flush for said planet pokemon.
hmmm...
Maybe move minior to flush and make cleffa high card?
Yeah, that's fun.

Just make it the same as full house but the torterra and orbiting lunatone are shiny. They get to have a bit of color, just this once.

Anyway, just because I can, here are some ideas for pokemon-themed enhancements!
Bonus: The lines are replaced with blue electricity, with a rotom at the center of each.
Mult: A bunch of unown, about half of them red, all floating around in the empty space on the card.
Wild: The 4 icons of the suit in each corner are replaced by a pokeball corresponding to the original suit (Spade: Ultra ball, Club: Net Ball, Heart: Love Ball, Diamond: Luxury Ball (They all have both the original color and the high contrast one at some spot on their design- although the hearts have it a bit lighter than on the official art...)
Stone: Stackataka's bricks.
Gold: Standard card but with a bunch of gimmighoul coins scattered on it.
Lucky: A meowth head-coin on either side of the center suit.
Glass: Not a clue.
Steel: Like the base game steel cards, but the center suit has those lines that are on the corner of the metal type icon in the tcg.
...
I put a lot of thought into this, despite not even knowing if it's possible with the mod being used to load the textures.

Fun fact - Pokemon designers received backlash from japanese public for creating Pokemon with four fingers, because there is Yakuza tradition to cut off one finger. So between generation II and generation III games many Pokemon (Golem, Golduck, Raticate, Haunter, Poliwhirl, Pikachu, Fearow, Dodrio, Zapdos, Mr. Mime...) changed how many fingers they had on hands/paws from four to five or three. So nowadays kinda problematic to find Pokemon for "Four Fingers"

Okay 🙂 Although I'd say you're brilliant artist.

One question, if you don't mind. No pressure at all, but are you only planning to do Pokemon Jokers from now, or are you planning to do more three stage evolutionary lines as Deck Skins?
As I said, your art is very delightful, and I'd be ecstatic to use more of them playing Balatro (especially if you choose to do some Pokemon I accidentally love too, like Talonflame, Charizard, Decidueye, Mamoswine or Metagross)... No offence, but out of the fifteen Pokemon on your current five skins, there are four Pokemon who are in my TOP-20 least favorite (3rd is Brionne, Primarina is 11th, Delphox is 13th and Meowscarada is 20th), so I can't even equip one evolutionary line for each of the four suits.
When after the first four you quickly added Goodra - I thought you're up to making even more 🙂

pareidolia (the all cards are face cards one) should be clefki, since it's a prime example of "object but with face."
additionally, part of the face is a keyhole, further connecting to the "inanimate stuff in the shape of a face" thing

I'm still puzzled about Drunkard and Juggler - since you've already used Lati@s as Duo, I'm not sure there are two similar-body-type Pokemon left to pick XD

But maybe "Juggler", "Drunkard" and "Kill the Moon" could be Tornadus, Thundurus and Enamorus?

And one more wild proposal - since you are using standart "Joker" word on each side of most cards, "Hanging Chad" don't have to spell "J", "O", "K". "E" and "R" on it, so instead five little papers could be: eyes of the Regirock, eyes of the Registeel, eyes of the Regice, eyes of the Regidrago and eyes of Regieleki. With eyes of the Regigigas instead of the word "Ballot". IDK if it stupid idea or not

There are 23 Pokemon movies in our real world (first three being about Mewtwo, Lugia and Unown/Entei) but there are also in-universe Pokemon movies (https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Movies_in_the_Pokémon_world)

Also, Pokemon Sword in-game Pokedex says "It moves with blinding speed and lobs poison at foes. Featuring Accelgor as a main character is a surefire way to make a movie or comic popular.", so if you choose to go movie-star way, I'd vote for Accelgor

Few more suggestions:

8 ball - could be any spherical pokemon like Spheal, but i believe Rowlet is the best option because both its face and its bow is like an eight on the side, easily to convert from billiard ball.
Vagabond - AZ floette
Castle - Palossand
Walkie Talkie - Rotom Dex. I hope regular Rotom being a Hologram isn't a problem

Ride the Bus could be Charjabug if it wasn't already used on a Square Joker. Because despite being a beetle larva, Charjabug holds the incredible resemblance to a bus.

Smeared Joker I associate with Smeargle (because of the name) or Mimikyu (because of smeared face of Jessie's Mimikyu from the anime), but both of them are used on another jokers too.

I could suggest Talonflame, but I have no arguments for it being somehow related to a business card or trainer card. It's just my all-time favorite pokemon and I don't think it has a chance to appear on any other joker, unlike Braixen 🙂

I'm puzzled by diet cola. There are no bottle-shaped pokemon in existence yet, nor there are a cola-themed one. However there is an item in Pokemon games called "Soda pop", that restores 50HP of the Pokemon, and it appeared in the Pokemon anime four times. Three times it was consumed by human characters but once it was given to Axew. So the best I could suggest for diet cola is Axew

Kitakami is acceptable, but Blueberry Academy is just a part of Unova, while Hisui is just another name for ancient Sinnoh.

There are enough of other regions aside main series nine (Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinhoh, Unova, Kalos, Alola, Galar, Paldea) though - there are:

Orre (Colosseum + XD Gale of Darkness)
2-4) Fiore, Almia and Oblivia (Ranger trilogy)
Pasio (Masters/Mastersex)

Ransei (Conquest)
Ferrum (Pokken)

I guess since Cryptid has deer antlers, the best option would be a fakemon based on a deer. Plus if it was in official Pokemon in some capacity - it would be great too. So, I'd vote for beta deer

To be clear - beta deer it is not one of my favorite fakemon at all, I think it is kind of boring and ugly. But it just fits Cryptid spectral.

I personally prefer more beautiful and cool fakemon, my all-time favorite is this Fire/Flying Fennekin evolution

There's an update, it's in a test branch for now becuse the booster name still stays after you remove the pack (plus it's a little wired that it doesn't happen when the games starts for the first time)

don't know if you've already decided on a specific style for tarots, but if it ends up as misc or items, then judgement and soul (technically a spectral, but it appears in tarot packs and is more associated with them.) should be pokeball and masterball.
I realize now that that's kinda obvious though.

Okay, firstly spectrals

Familiars of the witches and magicians are usually black cats, bats or crows, so Alolan Persian, Crobat or Honchcrow could work.
Grim - Dusknoir is loosely based on Grim Reaper and looks very grim overall, being a ghost type.
Incantation is a magic spell, so any Pokemon based on magic could work. Alakazam, Delphox and Mismagius came to mind the most. I'd pick Mismagius.
Sigil - Sigilyph. Simple
Ouija - Unown. Board with letters on it - Pokemon based on letters
Ectoplasm - any ghost type could work. Of course Gastly/Haunter/Gengar are the most iconic but I'd pick either Spiritomb or Rotom, they are the most ectoplasm-y
Hex - again, based on the name, any Pokemon used by Hex maniacs (so ghost types) are good to go. If Lampent wasn't used already, I'd pick it. But Sableye is good too.
Cryptid - if you didn't like my previous idea about using a fakemon, I could propose a simpler solution - using a deer Pokemon. Either Wyrdeer (cause it is seems to be extict) or Xerneas (because legendary)

Side note - I love that most of the spectrals this way ended up as ghost types. Because spectrals ARE type of ghosts

High Priestess - Gardevoir (feminine pokemon based on guardian angel)
Fool - either Slowpoke (canonically stupid Pokemon with low IQ) or Bibarel (because it is a doofus in memes)
Emperor - either Empoleon or Serperior (because they are based on french emperors) or Arceus (the highest authority in the world of Pokemon)
Empress - (Mega) Diancie - empress of the Carbink. Bonus point - both Empress and Mega Diancie have a staff/sceptre
Hierophant - I'm as puzzled as you are. Maybe Oranguru, just because they are look kinda similar, no better reason here
Chariot - Revavroom. Specifically, a Starmobile
Justice - well, we already used Arceus... let's use Cobalion. He is the leader of the Swords of Justice after all.
Hermit - Drizzile. Based on anime.
Wheel of Fortune - either Chansey or Clefairy using Metronome
Strength - Machamp. Strength is currently Machamp's signature move.
Hanged man - I don't know dude, I'm like 100% sure there is no connection between hanging and Pokemon. Maybe pick Cacturne because it is based on scarecrow? IDK, loose connection between Hanged Man and scarecrow, but it is the best I've got.
Death - thematically, any ghost type could do. If you haven't use Dusknoir as Grim - use it as Death (and then use Darkrai as Grim). But based on original tarot art - use Shadow Rider Calyrex, there is a horse rider originally.
Temperance - Wobbuffet or Galarian Stunfisk
Judgement - well... let's not use Arceus as Emperor or Justice, because Judgement is literally Arceus' signature move, the best match possible.

High Priestess could be Hatterene, because it looks the most like original tarot.
Emperor also have a staff/spectre, so based on visual similarities we could use Marowak.
Wheel of Fortune kinda looks like Dhelmise.

this project is really cool. don’t want to impede whatsoever but part of me feels like zoroark and pikachu should swap jokers. zoroark’s disguise ability makes it a better fit for invisible joker and pikachu is so iconic that having it visible in a popular joker like photograph would be more fitting imo. i’ll download this later today regardless, art looks great!

No offence, but I think "Pokermon" devs already made the most that could be done with Pokemon franchise as Balatro Jokers.
I know there could be more than one Balatro mod based on some thing (there like 100500 mods based on Binding of Isaac), but I just don't want your talent and time being wasted on Pokermon-like mod.
Especially when I really want to see more of your Pokemon Deck Skins. Five aren't nearly enough 😉 I really-really want Talonflame, Charizard, Decidueye and Metagross families in your cute style of deck skins

But If you're really decided to make a mod with some amount of Jokers based on Pokemon, then I will gladly share some of my ideas that are different from (at least current) content of Pokermon.
I've played a ton of Pokemon games, including fangames, I've seen every Pokemon movie, every Pokemon anime episode up to Ash's departure (but I will watch Horizons too, in the future), I'm regularly watching a lot of Poketubers on YouTube, I was Pokemon TCG player between 2011 and 2022, basically - I know a lot of Pokemon stuff, so I hope my creative ideas could be helpful.

There is another Balatro deck skin mod where author made every single Pokemon available to be on a face card, and it is works horribly with anything other than three stage evolution lines, two stage evolution lines with megaevolutions and legendary trios. It tickles me wrongly.

So I'd vote against making skins for Gholdengo, and especially eeveelutions, there is no way of spreading nine pokemon over three cards.
And with branching evolutions like (Gardevoir/Gallade, Vileplume/Belossom, Raichu/AlolanRaichu) I wonder if you cold maybe place both on one King? And with Hydrapple placing all three (Flapple, Appletun and Dipplin) on one Queen?

Minor bug report - ALL 4 of the Cinderace low contrast skins have a few transparent pixels under Scorbunny's eye. It isn't a problem with most cards in the Balatro (they are white), but gold enhancement in vanilla game and most of the enhancements in mods are not white and it become visible.

Maybe make it the high contrast version?
Could also be a good idea to find a way to incorporate the suits into the designs, like maybe making the weather gems be shaped like the suit with the color in the high contrast version, and maybe making some of the holes on the aggron line be shaped like them too.
