Rough Draft - Uncommon/Rare Joker
The joker to the left copies the joker to the right

Functionally, the joker to the left of this would pretty much become a Blueprint that copies the joker to the right of this. This overrides the joker to the left. It follows the same compatibility rules that Blueprint and Brainstorm follows.

Feels too weak to be a rare like BP/BS, but unsure if uncommon is rare enough for a copy effect. The idea was to add a heavy enough cost to justify a lower rarity copy effect, the cost being that it costs an additional joker slot.

Alternate Version

Rough Draft - Uncommon/Rare Joker
When Blind is selected, the joker to the left will instead copy the joker to the right of it until the end of the blind

This version functionally turns the joker to the left of it into a blueprint until the blind ends. Less skill expression but is a bit more balanced imo

So it’s essentially a 2 slot blueprint?

Pretty much, a joker that turns something else into a blueprint temporarily

Blueprint is so overtuned it might still be too op </3

#

Because

#

You dont need to Econ mid battle for example

#

You can copy say mail in rebate without penalties

#

And Econ jokers are often very strong

Tbh thats more of an issue with mail-in-rebate since its kinda crazy, though i do get the point you are making

#

i did come up with a version that could get around that though

#

That also being said, i do think it would be an interesting level of skill expression to shift jokers around to take advantage of Rough Draft throughout the blind/shop.

And, if you did eventually want to sell out of your econ or utility joker, you would still have to sacrifice a joker to rough draft, meaning you cant get another scoring joker
