Hi, I just bought Balatro a couple hours ago and I've been trying to play it but keep encountering frequent crashes of a similar variety. My game is new and unmodded, and I've tried verifying integrity, deleting saves, etc. to no avail. The frequency seems almost random (sometimes I get 3 minutes of play, sometimes 10+) and I've checked my computer's resources and none are being hogged resulting in a memory crash it seems.

The crash seems to be calling a sprite or specific asset in many cases, being unable to do, and then crashing as a result. I've tried adjusting in-game graphical settings as well with no success.

Any help figuring out how to fix this problem would be awesome.

If you have AMD hardware, install the latest drivers from the AMD website.
Overclocked CPUs might also cause crashes.
Someone else was able to fix crashes by updating their BIOS.

I am having the same issue. This is a problem with sprits not loading properly. I have been tracking the numbers and noticed a pattern when some cards come up or are changed that is when I am getting the error.

I was able to fix this issue by changing which drive I had the game installed on. Consistently had problems on one and so far none on the other.

Its a little odd because the drive i had it on initially houses all my games, and I don't have issues with most games anyway.
