#Installing Mods on Ubuntu

I'm trying to install Cryptid on my Ubuntu machine. I have my mods in my Mods folder underneeth my save in Roaming using wine:
aswell as having the Version.dll file in my local files. I also have my steam launch options for lovely in there. Then when I do launch the game I get a terminal from lovely that shows this once fully launched:

But the game loads without displaying the version number for steammodded or the mods section.
Do you guys have any advice for my situation or any logs/diagnostics that I could check to help?

I found a solution!!!
For anyone who stumles upon this in the future. The location of the mod folder listed in https://github.com/Steamopollys/Steamodded/wiki
is incorrect
for reference I am using
Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS
Steam Version: 1733265492

It states that for people using Linux (WINE/Proton) you should use the path
~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/2379780/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/Roaming/Balatro
for adding a Mods folder.
This path did not exist on my computer. After digging into where my steam games' save data actually is, I found that it is stored in snaps. So I found the real directory was:
~/snap/steam/common/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/2379780/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/Roaming/Balatro
So instead of ~/.local/share it's in ~/snap basically. I then put my mod loader, and booted everything up and it works!!!! awesome sauce

Double trouble. I found that this is because I installed steam using Ubuntu's store which uses snaps for steam. Jeez that was a doozy, I'll be opening a pull request to edit the install instructions since I think it's pretty common to use the snap store on ubuntu
