i cannot guarantee mod compatibility, but it's possibly worth testing? depends on what the demand is

a quick lovely-patching proof of concept mod i put together

increases the amount of jokers blueprint is compatible with in the vanilla game from 121/150 to 150/150 (all of them!)

new effects when copying passive jokers:

  • extra copies of Splash retrigger originally unscoring cards
  • extra copies of Four Fingers reduce the amount of cards required for a straight/flush
  • extra copies of Shortcut increase the maximum gap size allowed in a straight
  • extra copies of Showman increase the rate at which cards that are already on-screen/owned appear
  • extra copies of Astronomer reduce the price of planets and celestial packs by a further $1
  • an extra copy of Smeared Joker will smear all suits together, making all suits count as all suits
  • an extra copy of Pareidolia makes jacks, queens, and kings immune to debuffs and flips

now you can

  • double up on an oops all 6s
  • sacrifice a blueprint to mr bones
  • copy all those damn end of round econ jokers

the underlying system is a bit spaghetti so i wouldn't be surprised if it breaks, but seems stable enough

4 fingers: flushes can be collected with 1 card less (that is, when copying, you can collect flushes with 3 cards (with 5 or more flushes there will always be))
a short way: +1 to the size of the gaps in the straight (initially it = 0) (that is, when copying, holes can be 2 in size (example ace , 4 , 6 8))
Splash(when greater than 1): restarts all cards that do not participate in the -sweep-

in general, I have thought of a new combination system that includes absolutely any combination, even if the maximum selection of cards is much more than 5 (everything is erased on the "bricks" of the strip, flush, (the last two: you can choose whether your hand includes them (as well as any combination)if there are more than 5 you get strong buffs on points, if you don't get enough, then strong debuffs)the face value of the card in a row, ) everything is kick-ass how difficult it is, but in this way you can easily integrate any new types of hands by crossing with all of them

i was thinking of making more jokers copyable, like what you said

showman could re-add all currently on screen items making them appear more often
shortcut increases the gap allowed for straights
and four fingers reduces the cards required for straights/flushes

i'm hesitant on the rest, because while you could make splash retrigger unscored cards, and you could make a smeared joker copy smear all 4 suits together, it feels a bit too far from vanilla

you always have a chance of hitting invis which reduces its invis rounds to 0 and so you can't sell anymore

and i'm probably making sixth sense copyable at some point because not getting the extra speccy feels bad

  • Astronomer: Each Astronomer copy you have will give you 1$ whenever buying a Planet or Celestial Pack.
  • Pareidolia: Pure Face Cards (they're already Face Cards) will gain +1 retrigger.
  • Smeared Joker: All cards count as all Suits.
  • Splash: Cards that wouldn't have been scored without Splash gain +1 retrigger.

What if. Pareidolia: cards are considered face cards one extra time.

added new joker lock config option that makes the mod slightly more aligned with vanilla design principles, preventing you from shuffling your jokers around during the winning hand to get more benefits, disabled by default

what does double Midas Mask do? Looking at the code, it looks like all you did was remove the incompatibility? But like, there's no point, at least for Blueprint

You could do Midas Mask, Vampire, Brainstorm to get the benefits of both all the time, I guess, but Midas Mask, Midas Mask does nothing that a single doesn't already do
