When I open the game and click into the menu at all it maxes the volume, does not change at all when turning any volume slider down, and makes me unable to hear any other audio.

I've been able to repeat it numerous times, it's only on a click of any menu button. Turning audio down still does nothing. Repeated button clicks increase the volume and begin turning to static

By any chance, do you have a gamepad connected to your PC?
I used to have the same issue with other game just due to the connected gamepad.

I’ll re-check once I’m home but I think the only thing that might be close is an XP-Pen drawing tablet or a Logitech G960 wheel that hadn’t caused this issue before.
